Vous pouvez me raconter une histoire effrayante en anglais svp urgent

As I was having a rest ; I heard a big knock in tje ceiling or my room.  It was strange enough for we didn't have any lodger in our house renting a room. Infact we hadn't had any room available for anyone.
I thought It must be the ving .
So I went back to sleep. But half an hour later  a big bang was heard. I wole up all 
sweating like a horde because the big nois I heard was followed by a strange Whoooooooooooooo! 
Godness me I thought ! I couldn't call anyone since my parents had gone on vacation.
What is all this? I've heard lately about some strange things happening in the neighbouhoos but I did n't want to believe it.
People were talking about strange creatures the've seen and even heard. /They might have been right! I Was frightened to death this time and even more when I heard for a second time "Whoooooooooooo!"
I ru into the kitchen and took a knife but when I went back to my bedroom I was surprised to see an owl on the edge pt my window . So that was it! How silly I was . I have almost believed this silly story of ghosts!!
